Brooklyn Design Redefines Commercial Space Design Through Spatial Brand Identity and Lifism Philosophy

Seoul, South Korea, 7th Oct 2026 — Brooklyn Design, a South Korea-based global space design management firm led by CEO and Lead Designer Daniel Ha (Yoo-don Ha), has introduced a new paradigm in commercial space design through its latest project, the Yuna Gallery, located inside the Samsung Electronics headquarters building in Seoul.

Through the Yuna Gallery project, Brooklyn Design implemented its core spatial design philosophy, “Lifism,” seamlessly integrating commercial functionality, brand identity, artistic sensibility, and flexible spatial adaptability into a unified design language.

Implementing ‘Lifism’ in a High-Tech Corporate Environment

The Yuna Gallery spans approximately 330 square meters (100 pyeong) within the Samsung Electronics headquarters. Inspired by the iconic sunsets of Oia village in Santorini, Greece, the space utilizes a base tone of white harmonized with bronze gold and subtle orange hues to allow light and color to naturally complement the exhibited artwork.

“In an era of rapid AI and technological advancement, people require spaces for contemplation and rest,” said Daniel Ha, CEO of Brooklyn Design. “The core value of our spatial design lies in creating environments where high technology and art, speed and rest, coexist harmoniously.”

‘Spatial Brand Identity’ and One-Stop Design Management

Brooklyn Design approaches commercial projects as integrated “Design Management” rather than simple interior construction. The agency delivers a comprehensive one-stop solution covering brand analysis, spatial concept development, architectural drafting, permitting, construction, graphics, signage, and content curation.

A key differentiator of Brooklyn Design is its focus on “Spatial Brand Identity.” Recognizing that commercial spaces serve as the primary touchpoint between brands and consumers, the firm translates a brand’s global identity and core values into tailored physical environments that reflect local market characteristics.

Based in Seoul, South Korea, Brooklyn Design serves as a strategic local partner for international companies entering the Korean market. The agency provides end-to-end design and execution management that navigates local regulatory standards, cultural nuances, and consumer preferences, ensuring a seamless market entry for global brands.

This strategic positioning has enabled Brooklyn Design to expand its footprint both domestically and internationally. The firm has successfully executed global commercial and resort projects, including the KUNINGAN CITY landmark shopping mall project in Jakarta, Indonesia, as well as various developments across Europe and Asia.

Flexible Spatial Systems and Experiential Platforms

Functionally, the Yuna Gallery incorporates heavy-duty moving walls and a smartphone-controlled smart lighting system. This flexible system allows the 330-square-meter space to be reconfigured for fine art exhibitions, corporate events, brand pop-ups, and private functions.

Expanding beyond traditional galleries, Brooklyn Design defines pop-up stores and commercial showrooms as “brand experience platforms.” By integrating spatial design with storytelling, interactive media, custom merchandise, digital content, and artist collaborations, the company builds environments that capture consumer attention and drive organic social media engagement.

“A good space leaves a lasting memory, and a great brand space connects that memory to brand value,” added Ha.
