Rookie QB C.J. Stroud Named Starting Quarterback for Texans in Week 1
It might have seemed like a done deal, but the official confirmation arrived recently: C.J. Stroud will be the starting quarterback for the Houston Texans in Week 1 of the regular season.

However, following the conclusion of the Texans' final preseason game on Sunday night, Ryans finally made it official that Stroud would lead the team in Week 1—something that surprised no one.
